Selection guide

How to choose

  1. 01

Choose between PLLA and CaHA based on the structural role — PLLA is typically positioned for gradual collagen stimulation, CaHA for immediate structural support with subsequent stimulation.

  2. 02

Check the active content precisely: PLLA is specified in mg (e.g. 365 mg), CaHA in percentage (e.g. 30%, 10%, 0.5%).

  3. 03

Confirm whether the product ships as a powder plus diluent or as a ready-to-use gel.

  4. 04

Verify the reconstitution and dilution protocol is documented before purchase.

Buyer questions

Biostimulators FAQ

What is the difference between PLLA and CaHA?

PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid) is a synthetic biodegradable polymer supplied as a powder that is reconstituted before use. CaHA (calcium hydroxylapatite) is a mineral-based biostimulator typically supplied as a gel. Both are positioned as collagen biostimulators, but they differ in composition, handling and injection protocol.

Does the ISO quality management certificate cover these products?

The quality management system certificates we publish state a specific manufacturing scope covering cross-linked hyaluronic acid dermal filler gel and medical sodium hyaluronate gel for export. PLLA and CaHA are separate product categories and are not automatically covered by that stated scope.

Can biostimulators be private labelled?

Private label options depend on the specific formulation and packaging. Contact us to confirm what is available for the product and volume you are considering.
